Weatherproofing & Moisture Protection
Siding is only as good as the wall behind it. Soft, swollen or missing sheathing has to be fixed before anything new goes on.

Sheathing is the structural layer under the weather barrier and siding. When water reaches it, OSB swells and crumbles and plywood delaminates, and fasteners lose their grip. Siding hung on bad sheathing loosens, waves and fails early.
We repair wall sheathing across Nashville and Middle Tennessee. We cut out damaged panels back to solid framing, treat or replace affected studs and plates, install new sheathing flush with the existing wall, seal and tape the seams and restore the weather barrier before the siding goes on.
What you get

FAQ
Pressing or probing soft spots, discoloration and fasteners that do not hold are signs. A moisture meter helps.
It should not. Weak sheathing cannot hold fasteners, and the siding will not last.
Sometimes. If framing is affected we repair it and tell you in advance.
