Fiber cement siding is made from cement, sand and cellulose fibers pressed into boards. It resists rot, insects and fire, holds paint well and gives a clean, substantial look in lap, vertical, panel and shingle profiles. It is heavier and takes more skill to cut and hang than vinyl, and the details matter: correct nailing, proper gaps and sealed cut edges.
We install fiber cement on homes and light commercial buildings across Nashville and Middle Tennessee. Boards are cut with dust-controlling methods, cut edges are sealed, flashing and weather barrier are installed first and paint or factory finish is chosen to suit the exposure.
