Siding Installation & Replacement
Vinyl is the most common siding in Middle Tennessee for good reason: it is light, low-maintenance and comes in a wide range of colors and profiles.

Vinyl siding never needs painting, will not rot and goes up quickly, which is why so many Middle Tennessee homes wear it. The details that decide how it looks and lasts are in the installation: straight starter strips, nails left slightly loose so panels can expand and contract, correct overlaps and tight, well-flashed trim around every opening.
We install vinyl siding on homes across Nashville and Middle Tennessee. We strip failing siding when needed, check and repair the sheathing underneath, hang house wrap, flash the windows and doors and install panels, corners, J-channel and trim in the order that keeps water out.
What you get
Lap, dutch lap, board and batten and shake looks in many colors.
House wrap and flashing go up before any panel does.
Panels hung loose enough to expand and contract with the seasons.
Corners, J-channel and trim cut and fitted without gaps.
The process
Old siding comes off if needed, sheathing is checked and repaired and house wrap is installed.
Openings are flashed, then starter strip, corners and trim are set.
Panels go up course by course, with a final walk-through of every wall.
FAQ
It depends on the product, the installation and the exposure. Good installation and normal care help it hold up for decades.
Sometimes, but removing the old layer lets us inspect and repair the wall, so we usually recommend it.
Modern vinyl is made to resist fading, but dark colors and sun-facing walls can lighten over time.
