Weatherproofing & Moisture Protection
Siding sheds most of the water, but the weather barrier behind it handles what gets past. It has to be right, because nobody sees it again.

No siding is completely waterproof. Wind-driven rain gets behind it, and the weather-resistive barrier, usually house wrap, drains that water down and out while keeping the sheathing dry. Installed carelessly, with wrong laps, torn sheets or unflashed openings, it fails exactly where the water needs it to work.
We install weather barrier on every siding project across Nashville and Middle Tennessee. We lap each course shingle-style so water drains outward, tape seams and penetrations, integrate the barrier with window and door flashing in the right order and repair any tears before the siding goes on.
What you get
Each layer lapped over the one below it.
Joints and penetrations sealed with tape.
Windows and doors integrated in the correct sequence.
Every tear and fastener hole addressed before siding.
The process
Sheathing is repaired and cleaned.
Barrier is lapped, fastened and taped.
Openings are flashed, and the wrap is inspected before siding.
